Christian Argenti – Host
Christian comes from a showbiz family and like many boys growing up in the 70s & 80s in Melbourne, was mad about football and cricket with the bedroom walls covered with pictures of Chappell, Lillee, Border, Daicos & Kink.
Sport and music remained the 2 big passions throughout his teens and it was no real surprise when Christian started his career as a singer and musician whilst still at high school. Christian worked extensively as a session vocalist for commercials, TV shows, movie soundtrack and voice-overs as well as a live entertainer fronting various bands and acts before launching a recording career with his band “Invertigo” in 2002. “Invertigo” received their first ARIA Gold Record with their debut album “Forum” which featured ARIA top 20 singles ?Desensitized and ?Chances Are. The band is recording the extremely overdue 2nd album due for release in early 2010.
Whilst the music continues, the 2nd half of Christian’s career comes as no real surprise either, going into the world of radio in 2005/06 with stints in Hobart and the Gold Coast and now as the host of the Overnight show on Melbourne sports radio station SEN 1116.
