Anita Schmidt talks us through the Bali Wellness Retreat.

From Sunday the 4th to Friday the 9th of June, our group of 9 women including new clients, existing members and a couple of internationals embarked on the ProSport Wellness Retreat based just outside of Ubud, Bali at Sharing Bali. Each individual came with their own health, fitness and wellness goals and I think it’s safe to say they were well and truly exceeded!! Whether the goal was to take more time to relax, kick start a fitness journey, set and achieve new challenges or changes I think this group of women did it all.

This action-packed week consisted of many highlights including hiking up a volcano to watch the sunrise, jungle trekking, cooking classes, swimming in natural springs, biking through local communities, white-water rafting, boot camp, running and yoga sessions plus some relaxing. We were also fortunate enough to have a class from the local school come and participate in one of our boot camp sessions, blowing us away with their strength and determination.

Although not always easy and certainly challenging, everyone supported each other through the good, the testing and the DOMS (muscle soreness from exercise). I would like to congratulate Lucy, Krystal, Emma, Heidi, Michelle, Vanda, Johanna, Tracey and Valerie on their hard work and willingness to jump in and try everything. I would also like to thank Karen, Wayan, the Sharing Bali staff and the local community for all their help, support and delicious food!!
