Bali is the trip for YOU. No matter what your current fitness levels are or what you want to get out of the week, ProSport and Sharing Bali are there to support you. If your goal is to see how hard you can go, improve your health and fitness, shed some weight or simply to relax on a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of every day life we are there for you!
We offer several fitness sessions a day…running, bootcamps, yoga plus a volcano trek and a jungle hike through the undulating rice paddies. You choose how many sessions you want to do each day and you choose the pace you want to be pushed at.
At Sharing Bali, we make the absolute most of exercising outside. Located up in the hills just out of Ubud, the location doesn't suffer the same overbearing heat and humidity you find in other parts of Bali. Mornings and evenings are pleasant and the Sharing Bali team have created beautiful gardens throughout the grounds to ensure there is plenty of shade when the days warm up.
The natural terrain is uneven and has plenty of hills. Weights are in the form of coconuts, rice sacks, bamboo kettle bells and logs.
All are natural in shape, creating instability and adding an extra difficulty to every move. Working out in these conditions demands that you are mentally in tune with your whole body, your muscles employed and challenged for the duration of the whole workout.
The incredible, abundant, fresh and healthy Balinese cuisine will ensure your body, metabolism and mind are reset and habits encouraged to take back home with you. (And don’t despair, delicious Balinese coffee is also available).
We experience “true” Balinese village life with cultural opportunities such as visiting local markets, a school and village ceremonies.
Sharing Bali is a unique place to escape the rat race and truly focus on yourself, take the time away from stress, technology and the busy every day life in this beautiful setting created by Karen and her team.
The accommodation at Sharing Bali is simple, traditional and stunning. Leaving behind TV and technology, the bungalows are set amongst gardens and rice paddies. Built from local bamboo, stone & timber with grass roofs. Each one has it’s own character, every view is different.
There are many places to kick back and relax throughout the property. Bring your book, settle into the cushions, and relax in the bale overlooking the rice paddies. Escape to the daybed in Sharing's “library” for an afternoon nap or stretch out in the Yoga Bale in between sessions.
