A strong rowing background has helped forge Anita’s success as a trainer with ProSport. In 2010 Anita was offered a full rowing and academic scholarship to the University of Central Florida (UCF) in the United States of America. Anita spent 2 years in the US training and competing for the UCF Rowing team under the guidance of some of America’s best strength and conditioning and rowing coaches. This experience not only fuelled her love of sport and activity but encouraged her to push her own boundaries in order to achieve individual and team goals. This experience taught her the importance of keeping active but also balancing work and life responsibilities.

After returning from the US, Anita decided to pursue her love of fitness and underwent a Certificate 3 and 4 in Personal Training and found working with people to achieve their goals both exciting and rewarding.

In 2013 Anita undertook further study and is currently in her final year of a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science degree at Australian Catholic University (ACU). Since commencing this degree Anita has been able to refine her skills and pursue her passion for helping people to the best of their ability. Whilst studying, Anita has worked with many different sporting teams of different ages, skill abilities and demographic. Anita is currently coaching senior rowing at Lauriston Girls’ School as well as working as a sports trainer at an amateur football club.

Anita’s passion has evolved from rowing to running and after completing many half marathons she reached the pinnacle & finished the Tokyo and New York marathons in recent years.
